The University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) Department of Pediatrics seeks full-time clinical faculty in the Division of Neonatology. Primary duty is in patient care services with limited opportunity for clinical teaching of medical students and residents. Faculty rank and salary commensurate with qualifications.
The pediatric neonatology division covers a 54 bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and a Step-Down Unit in the Children’s Hospital at University of Illinois (CHUI) within the University of Illinois Hospital and Health Sciences System. This is a busy medical / surgical unit with multiple pediatric sub-specialties available.
M.D. or equivalent terminal medical degree; successful completion of Pediatrics residency and Neonatology fellowship
Current Illinois medical license or eligible to obtain license to practice medicine in the State of Illinois
Board-certified in General Pediatrics and BC/BE in Neonatology
