(NORTHERN) *NEW* ENJOY LIVING IN CLOSE PROXIMITY TO SEVERAL MAJOR METROPOLITAN CITIES, WORLD CLASS BEACHES, FOUR BEAUTIFUL SEASONS, AND NO SALES TAX ALL WITHIN THE HEART OF THE NORTHEAST. The neonatal team at one of the state and nationís top hospitalís is seeking additional NNPs and Neonatal PAs to help staff its 70-bed (ADC 52), Level III NICU; 17-bed, Level II nursery; and delivery site. The hospital is a not-for-profit, Magnet facility and teaching hospital. In addition to clinical practice, the 18-person neonatal team is committed to all aspects of the neonatal care profession; taking pride in fostering research and education and encouraging overall professional growth. Additionally, the position involves delivery attendance, transport (mostly ground and occasional helicopter), and teaching of residents, neonatal fellows, and NNP students from two nearby universities. These are full-time, salaried positions. Shifts vary based on location. The NNPs work 8! , 12, 16 and 24 hour shifts in the Level III NICU and provide 24-hour weekend coverage in the smaller units. MSN and NCC and NRP certification required prior to start. Eligible new graduate applicants must have strong Level III nursing backgrounds.
