WASHINGTON (TACOMA) - NNP - LEVEL IV NICU - A prominent medical group in Washington is currently seeking additional Neonatal Nurse Practitioners to help staff a 45-bed, Level IV NICU in the South Puget Sound. The position involves family-centered rounds, teaching, full patient management from admission to discharge, and delivery attendance. There is camaraderie and collegiality between the NNPs and in-house Neonatologists. The NNP role is very autonomous allowing the practitioners to perform procedures and plan independently without competing with residents, interns or the attending physicians. 24-hour in-house shifts. No transport responsibility. Ability to rotate to two small Level II Special Care Nurseries in order to provide different levels of care, if desired. The group offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits package. MSN and NCC required prior to start. Given the level of NNP autonomy, prior NNP experience is highly preferred.
