Mercy Health Saint Mary’s (MHSM) has an exciting opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Neonatology physician to join a highly skilled and experienced team located in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

This highly skilled Interdisciplinary NICU team includes Neonatology physicians, Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, skilled NICU nurses, respiratory therapists and speech therapists who deal with high level and complex patients. Medical social workers help families deal with the stress emotions and other concerns of having a baby in the NICU. Certified Lactation counselors provide breastfeeding education and support to breastfeeding NICU Moms and Pastoral rounds on NICU families provide spiritual guidance, prayer and moral support.

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Mercy Health Saint Mary's campus provides critical care to the tiniest premature infants, multiple births, sick newborns or any baby requiring specialized newborn care.

MHSM is a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care unit.
